How many wedding guests can SandHills hold?
The main hall is 50′ × 70′ (about 3,500 sq ft) and comfortably seats up to 300 guests, with 22 round tables, 22 banquet tables and 250 chairs included.
How much does a wedding at SandHills cost?
Venue rental is $595 for any single day Sunday through Friday, $999 for a Saturday, or $1,899 for the full Friday-to-Sunday weekend. Each is all-inclusive, with exclusive use of the entire venue. Optional add-ons are a 20′ × 20′ dance floor ($395), an audio/visual package ($149), and table and chair set-up and tear-down ($249).
Can we hold both the ceremony and the reception here?
Yes. Couples use the hall for the ceremony, the reception, or both. The built-in 25′ × 16′ stage works for the ceremony, a head table or the band, and the hall is yours exclusively for the day.
Can we bring our own caterer and bar service?
Yes. There are no vendor restrictions, so you can bring your own caterer, bar service, food, drinks and décor. The full prep kitchen has a fridge/freezer, stove, microwave and two commercial coffee pots.
Is there a dance floor?
A 20′ × 20′ portable dance floor is available as a $395 add-on.
Is there somewhere for the wedding party to get ready?
Yes. Private suites are available for getting ready before the ceremony, and there is a private mother’s room.
How do we reserve our wedding date?
A signed rental agreement and a $150 refundable security deposit reserve your date. The deposit is returned after the event once the venue is left as you found it, and the rental balance is due 14 days before the wedding. You can check open dates and book online, or call (620) 314-4141 to tour first.
Do the rental hours include setup and cleanup?
Yes. Plan your decorating and cleanup within your booked time. The weekend package gives you the venue Friday through Sunday, which leaves Friday for setup and Sunday for teardown.
